Maintenance - Tri-Cities Airport

Salary: $22.30 per hour
Duties: The primary responsibility of the maintenance personnel at the Tri-Cities Airport is to properly maintain and provide safe conditions for aircraft, public and tenants using the airport. This position will perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled tasks in the care and maintenance of runways, buildings, grounds, equipment, fixtures and facilities at the Tri-Cities Airport and performs other assignments or duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years of general equipment and building maintenance experience to include roofing, grounds keeping, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, welding and equipment operation; a High School diploma, or G.E.D. equivalency; and, a valid Washington state driver’s license.
International Union of Operating Engineers Local 280: The IUOE is the bargaining agent for the Maintenance workers. The starting wage is $22.30 per hour with base wage rate increases occurring at 1-1/2 years of employment and 2-1/2 years of employment. There is also a Consumer Price Index wage adjustment that takes effect on November 1st of each year.
