The Port of Pasco has an immediate opening for a full-time Security Guard to serve at the Tri-Cities Airport.  THIS IS NOT A PASSENGER SCREENING POSITION.

This position conducts routine patrols of the Tri-Cities Airport properties to include the airport terminal building and surrounding area, airport industrial park, runway and taxiway system, and perimeter boundaries for fire protection and security.  The ability to communicate with other employees and the public is essential.  This is NOT a law enforcement position

Prospective employee must pass a pre-employment physical and a drug-screening test, must possess a valid driver’s license and a high-school diploma or GED.  All interviewees selected will be required to fill out an incident report to test written skills including spelling, and handwriting.  Starting wage is $16.42/hour, plus full benefit package. Work schedule:  Shift work may include weekends and holidays.

Port of Pasco office hours are 7 am to 4 pm, closed for lunch from 12 – 1 pm.  The Port is closed on February 19th in remembrance of President's Day.
